Over Ferhat Oz

Ferhat Oz, born in Istanbul Turkey, is one of the most well know jazz singer and vocal coach of the Turkish jazz scene. He Is well known for his versatile vocals, improvisation and technical abilities.

He did his bachelor degree in Istanbul Bilgi University and Masters degree In Codarts both in jazz singing and improvisation. During his masters degree he specialised on EVTS and CVT and created his own vocal improvisation approach based on EVTS.

In 2006 He won the Nardis Jazz Club’s “International Jazz Singers Competition” and Nomme Jazz Festival’s “Young Jazz singers Competition” and nominated for the Best Jazz Singer of The Decade” award by Jazz Magazine On Turkey. Through his he performed in many festivals and jazz clubs in Europe and United States.

With 10 years of experience of teaching Ferhat Oz mainly focuses on jazz, pop, soul and RnB. He also teaches improvisation for all levels and vocal health and technique for all levels and genres.
